Hello, my name is David, I am currently 21 and have been doing art on and off since I was 15. Unfortunately it is more off than on but I am continuing to alter that and learn.
Most of the stuff posted here will only be quick completed jobs where I am trying new techniques and will most likely be portraits as I am a huge fan of faces and love black and grey photorealism as an art style.
A few photos will be of myself through self portraits, tattoos, or just images I think will be amusing for the wider world.

Thought I might start up a few of these journal things
Just for random artistically related thoughts on my own progress and where I need to improve
So I can keep looking back at these as pointers in the right direction XD
Plus after completing a piece I am quite proud of (not up yet) I feel like blabbering on about nothing
And I've no idea who is following me so I can say anything woop
But areas to improve on:
Mouths and noses, shading,
Areas I should start trying:
Landscapes, bodies (not just portraits) male portraits (not just pretty females)
Recreating images from my minds eye
And now on a less artistic mood

I don't know who or how many people are following me or will read this but its worth a try
since I'm in a new city I've yet to meet the artists around and am in need of someone to give a quick sketch (im not a very good artist) of an idea I have for a possible tattoo
For those interested the idea is
A female zombie wearing a labcoat (stained with some blood) pouring content from one test tube to another (following a jekyl and hyde theme) the colours which I would like encorpuate in this are purple and green somewhere but other then that go crazy and I would also like it not too realistic and not too cartoony either
